Usage Method
The cationic rosin sizing agent can be applied directly or diluted with clarified water at a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5. The recommended injection point is upstream of the fan pump, where the sizing agent is continuously introduced via a metering pump.
Alternatively, it may be combined with aluminum sulfate for post-pressure screen application, with a dosage rate of 0.3-1.5% relative to absolute dry fiber weight. Retention aids such as aluminum sulfate can be introduced either at this location or in the Mixing Chest/Machine Chest.
Optimal sizing performance requires maintaining system pH between 4.5-6.5, while white water pH below the forming wire should be regulated within 5.0-6.5.
